Matariki Power Point Presentations - Term 2
Last term, we studied about Matariki, the star constellation and its importance to Maori and New Zealanders. We all completed a project about Matariki and would like to share some of our power point presentations.
Isaiah & Bronson's Matariki and Solar System Presentation
Our power point presentation was based on the solar system and Matariki. My favourite part of studying Matariki was when we had a ground hangi. A lot of people had not had a hangi before, so it was a delicious experience for them. Here is our presentation:

Alex's presentation on Star Constellations and Matariki
My powerpoint presentation is based on the stars and how they were made, the life cycle of a star and some facts about Matariki. My favourite part of studying Matariki was the Hangi and the stargazing. Check out my presentation:

Welcome to A2's 2009 Blog
Hi everyone
Welcome to our class blog for 2009. A2 is the name of our class here at Glenholme School in Rotorua. Our class is made up of 27 year 5 and 6 students, with ages ranging from 9 to 11 years. We will be sharing all aspects of school life on our blog and hope it will be a learning journey for many of us who haven't blogged before. We are very fortunate to have several children in our class who are very talented with ICT and e-technology, so we hope to showcase and share some of their skills along the way.
Keep watching this space!
